     midway Worship

Midway worship ministries allows those who love the Lord and are skilled  vocally, instrumentally, and technologically, to use their gifts to glorify God through song.            The music ministry is comprised of four groups: praise band, praise singers, choir, and the audio/visual team.

Our worship style is a blend of hymns and contemporary songs to promote unity and variety in worship. If you are interested in being a part of the Midway Worship Ministry, contact Bro. Braylen at blashley@midwaybaptist.org

Also, be sure to check out the tabs below for more information regarding each area of the Midway Worship Ministry and news concerning midway worship.

Praise Band

The praise team is a group of individuals who seek to use their gifts in instrumental music to glorify God. These individuals play for both of our services on Sundays and Wednesdays, as well as, a night of praise and worship usually on the fifth Sunday of a given month.

Rehearsals for Sunday's team are thursdays at 7:30pm in the Family Life Center, while the team on Wednesday practices are on Wednesdays at 5:30pm in the Chapel. If you are interested, please set up an appointment and bring your instrument.

Praise Singers

This group of singers seek to glorify the Lord through their voices by taking a more prominent role in the worship ministry. This group rehearses at the same times as the praise band on Saturdays and Wednesdays.

Those desiring to be a part of this group must be involved in the Worship choir for at least six months, and set up an appointment with the Worship Leader.

Audio/Visual Team

This group of individuals are responsible for the technological side of the Worship Ministry, including sound and video for both Sundays and Wednesdays. This group is comprised of several teams that rotate weekly.

No prior technology background is required.

If interested, set up an appointment with Bro. Braylen or talk with Bro. Lyle Mansfield.
