J.A.M. Youth Ministry

Jesus Alive in Me "...it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me..." Galatians 2:20

J.A.M. exists to see the truths of the Bible become a reality in the daily lives of every teenager. Our desire is to see teenagers:

Saved - call upon the Name of the Lord (Romans 10:13).

Surrendered - completely committed to the Kingdom of God and the cause of Christ.

Sanctified - compelled to become like Christ by studying His Word.

Sharing - communicating their experience with a loving God to a lost and looking world.

We seek these goals by assisting parents in discipleship, teaching Biblical truth, involving ourselves in worship, service, and fellowship. Our prayer is that God will be glorified in the youth ministry at Midway Baptist Church.

JAM Events

Midway Baptist loves teenagers. We believe that it is crucial for teenagers to make new friends, have opportunities to serve, be involved in worship, and just have fun! There's always someone going on for teens at Midway. The following is a list and description of just some of the things we do in J.A.M.

  • J.A.M. Wednesday nights

Wednesdays are awesome at Midway. The youth usually meet at 6:30 p.m. in the Family Life Center. The night begins with a game, followed by musical worship, and then Bible Study. These meetings times are designed to be fun, informative, and encouraging.

  • j.a.m.-in

Each month we gather on a Sunday afternoon to hang out and have fun.

We meet in the Family Life Center from 5:30-8:00 p.m. for a time of games, food, and fellowship.

A  J.A.M.-In is a great opportunity to meet new people and make friends.

  • retreats

Each Spring and Fall we get away from the distractions of everyday life and spend a couple days focused on God and His Word.

There will be games, worship, preaching, prayer, a bon-fire, and more!

  • j.a.m. camp

Youth Camp is a huge part of the youth ministry at Midway Baptist.

Our camps are week long opportunities to leave the distractions of this world and focus on Christ.

Simply put, our camps are awesome. There's exciting games, new friends, dynamic worship, applicable teaching, impactful preaching, and just an all around great time.

This year's camp is June 19-24, 2023 at University of Mobile. Watch for more information.
