Men's Winter Retreat

What: Midway Baptist Men’s Retreat 2023

Who: All Adult Men of Midway Baptist Church

Where: Tri-State Christian Camp (near Defuniak Springs)

When: Friday, February 10 – Saturday, February 11

Why: For the Glory of God and our good

Cost: $40/man

 

Vital Details:

Transportation: An early group will depart the church at 1:00 p.m., Friday afternoon (February 10). You are welcome to take your privately-owned vehicle and convoy to Tri-State Christian Camp but we recommend car-pooling as much as possible. If you require a ride or are able to take additional passengers please make Bro. Pete aware. All others will be responsible for their own transportation. 


The retreat officially starts with dinner on Friday night at 6:30 p.m. (if you’re running late, make sure you still come….we’ll have plenty of food and we’ll leave a light on for you) and ends Saturday morning at 11 a.m.

 

What you need to bring: Bible, pen and paper, pillow, bedding for a twin bed (or sleeping bag), toiletries, and a heart open to the Lord’s direction

 

What we need from you:

 

1. Verification that you are attending. Please email Bro. Pete at pbelmain@midwaybaptist.org to confirm your attendance no later than WEDNESDAY, February 8 and whether you need a ride or can provide a ride.


2. Pay the $40 fee. You can place payments in the offering plate (please designate what you are paying for), drop off payments at the church office, or pay at the camp (pretty flexible huh?).

 

3. Be in prayer for God to move in a powerful way.

Directions:

  • Take Hwy 87 North to I-10 East
  • Continue East on I-10 for about 38 miles
  • Take exit 70 (this is the exit after Crestview exit 56) and get on Hwy 285 North
  • Cross railroad tracks and turn right on Hwy 90 E for about 10 miles
  • On your left, look for “Tri-State Christian Camp” (the sign will be marked with orange tape and a small flashing strobe)
  • Follow road until you see the camp entrance on your right (sign marked with orange ribbon and chem-lights)
  • Enter camp and continue until you see the church bus
